Living Room Dance YouTube Channel

What's the silver lining of being stuck in your living room? You can try that dance class you've been curious about without leaving your house! Keep dis-DANCING through the COVID-19 crisis on our "Living Room Dance" YouTube channel. It was no suprise to us that artists (inherently resilient and resourceful) were the first to adapt to the new reality and nearly immediately started teaching virtual classes. This channel is a collection of dance warm-ups and combinations coordinated by Dance Wire and taught by dance artists of Portland. If you are able, please consider making a donation to help support these artists who have lost most if not all income due to social distancing and other COVID-19 restrictions.

Now, go...dance like no one's watching!

This feature series is all about people just like you who thought those thoughts but eventually discovered or rediscovered that dance is for everyone. Check it out and if you have a story of your own you'd like to have featured, shoot us an email! emily@dancewirepdx.org
